11+ School Entrance Exam
For most young students preparing to go to day schools, this will be the first time they have ever encountered entrance exams of this nature. It can come as quite a shock when school life becomes much more intense from year 5 onwards.
Most schools assess Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and sometimes Science. Exams take place in January of Year 6 and many schools write their own examinations. Some schools are grouped together so that there are fewer exams for the students. In most cases, if the exam goes successfully the student will be invited to interview.
We have plenty of experience with 11+ exams and are very well equipped to support students in the run up to the 11+ Common Entrance Exams. We have helped our students get into schools such as St Paul's Girl's School, Godolphin and Latymer, Francis Holland Sloane Square and Regents Park, The Harrodian School and Cheltenham Ladies College.
