What's involved in the FOCUS Assessment?

Upon receiving the software download, your child can complete the assessment in the comfort of their quiet home environment. Engaging in a 20-minute unstimulating task with instructions to respond by pressing the space key, the assessment provides an objective measurement of your child's functioning relative to others of the same age and gender. Following the assessment, we'll schedule a video call to discuss the results with you and offer personalised suggestions to enhance your child's learning experience based on the findings.

It's important to note that the assessment doesn't identify what is 'wrong' with the student. Instead, it highlights areas for improvement and provides insights into certain behaviors that parents, teachers, or tutors may observe. Utilising this cognitive diagnostic allows us to tailor a better learning environment for each student.
