PERSONAL STATEMENT
As an individual who has undergone an unforgettable education and developed a strong love for learning and growing my knowledge, I understand the importance of this and would love to spread this as a tutor. I have worked with children and been a tutor for a couple of years now, and have loved every second of it. By working with a student separately, they can grow their confidence, as well as fully engage. I am exceptionally patient and enjoy working with children and sharing my joy for learning in an encouraging way. Personally, I love working with students, helping them accelerate in their learning, and especially enjoy the wonderful ‘light bulb’ moment, which is certainly something that I will never stop warming my heart. As I have recently finished school, and now in university, there are easily similarities between myself and the students which always proves effective, as more of a trusted friendly relationship can be formed, along with a professional one. Furthermore, I am extremely familiar with the pressures of children currently, as I have myself endured these, therefore I would be able to share my experiences, along with support and share ways to overcome these difficulties. I believe it is incredibly important for pupils to feel comfortable and honest around their tutors, where they are benefitting from the one-on-one support. This can only be achieved if the style of teaching being performed is a shared technique, and I would work with my student to ensure their optimum level of engagement is achieved.
