PERSONAL STATEMENT
Growing up in Pakistan, I witnessed many students struggle with their studies, often pushed toward science out of obligation rather than genuine interest. My own inspiration came from my parents, both dedicated academics whose love for learning ignited a passion in me. Their relentless pursuit of knowledge, along with the encouragement from passionate teachers, shaped my academic journey and led me to pursue a postgraduate degree. As a tutor, I aim to create an environment where students can experience the same joy and curiosity that inspired me. I believe that education should be more than just meeting requirements; it should foster a love for learning and empower students to explore their passions. My goal is to instil confidence in my tutees, encouraging them to embrace subjects like biology not as burdens but as exciting opportunities for discovery. I also have personal experience in guiding others, having helped my younger sister navigate her career choices. By sharing my enthusiasm for biology and discussing my research, I was able to support her in finding her path to medical school, where she now thrives. I am committed to being a tutor who inspires and motivates. By fostering a sense of curiosity and a positive learning experience, I hope to help students break free from the routine of merely going through the motions, empowering them to truly engage with their education and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
