12 Days of Self Love: Stress Management, Confidence Building, Learning Techniques and Body Positivity
This year, we believe the best way to celebrate the festive season is with the gift of self-love. Especially with the number of curveballs 2020 has given us, it’s so important to focus on your physical and mental health. With this in mind, we’re kicking off December with some mind nourishing content!
12 days of Self Love consists of four main themes: Stress management, Confidence boosting, Learning techniques, and Body positivity. Each theme will be focused on for the week, with one informative article, one interactive live session with a guest speaker, and one exciting activity to do together as a family!
(1 article + 1 live session + 1 activity) x 4 weeks = 12 days of Self Love!

Week 1: Managing stress and anxiety with Natalie Costa

We’re super excited to kick off 12 days of Self Love by having Natalie Costa back with us again for another live session! She started the award-winning Power Thoughts, a teaching, coaching based service aimed at empowering children to tap into the ‘power’ of their minds. This time, she will focus on helping parents get a better understanding of anxiety within their kids, as well as touch on tips to manage and cope with stress.

Week 2: Boosting confidence with @mindfullyteaching

Tune in to our live with @mindfullyteaching dealing with all things confidence. @mindfullyteaching teaches Year 6 using mindfulness and can bring a different perspective to learning and self-love. She will take us through her tips on how to help your child build their confidence, focus on their strengths, and put forth the best version of themselves.

Week 3: Learning Techniques with @getting.psyched.for.you

We have @getting.psyched.for.you with us live on 19th December, a trainee educational and child psychologist at UCL. In this live session, we will shed light on understanding more about learning difficulties, the best tips to managing, coping, and dealing with learning difficulties as well as the different types of learning techniques and how to find out which technique is best for your child!

Week 4: Body Positivity with Usha Chadha

Usha tends to focus on bringing empathy and encouraging collaboration to help students do their best and be their happiest within their studies. Usha is also an art therapist, training to be a forest bathing practitioner and a Master NLP Practitioner. Her proudest achievement is being a mother, which she has enjoyed at every stage. Her son is now 24 yrs old and is happily thriving in the world. Outside of work, her guilty pleasures are motorbiking, art, languages, globe-trotting, and good food!
